Parts Register
Overview
Gearbox Parts module manages Parts lists, ordering, stock control and use. If enabled, stock control can be managed over multiple sites.
The Inventory module must be active in your system
Adding Parts Manually
1. Parts may be added individually by clicking the Add New (1)
2. Add the Part Number (2) and Description (3) check the Stocktake Item (4) box if the part should be tracked for stocktake then click Save and Close (5)
Importing Parts
1. Parts lists / catalogues can be imported in bulk using the Gearbox import tool. Click on Import (1)
2. Click Download XLS Template (2) once completed click on Select File To Import (3)
Once the import is completed you will receive an email with the results. If unsuccessful, the email will specify the errors with the import process.
