Vehicle Owner
Overview
As per the February 2021 changes to NHVAS standards, vehicle owners are now required to be included in the accredited vehicle register. Follow these steps to set this up in your Gearbox system.
Adding Vehicle Owners
1. Click on User Icon (1), then click on Settings (2)
2. Click on Vehicle Owner (3)
3. Click on Add Owner (4)
4. Enter in the Owner Label (5), then click Save (6)
Linking Vehicle Owners to Vehicles
1. Click on Vehicles (1)
2. Select a vehicle (2)
3. Navigate to the Financials (3) tab, select the vehicle owner from the dropdown menu in the Vehicle Owner (4) box, and then click Save and Close (5)
Compliance Reviews
Vehicle owners will now appear in the reviews section in line with the Feb 2021 changes to NHVAS standards.
1. Click on Compliance (1), then click on Reviews (2)
2. Click on a Review (3)
3. Click on Print (4) in the powered section then click on Register (5)
4. Vehicle Owner (6) will now show up in the report run as shown below
