Assigning Mass Limits

Overview

The Prestart application allows drivers to enter axle group weights in Load Sheets. For Prestart to alert of overloads in GML, CML, HML, etc., the Vehicle Mass limits must be configured in Gearbox first.

Adding a Mass Limit

GML mass limit must be configured for all Mass Accredited vehicles. CML and HML cannot be used without a valid GML record.

1. Click on Vehicles (1)

2. Click on the Vehicle (2) you wish to assign a mass limit for

3. Click on the Compliance (3) tab, then click on Assign Mass Limit Type (4)

4. The first Mass Limit MUST be GML (5). Enter your Axle Group 1&2 (6,7), then click Create Mass Limit (8)

5. Once all Mass Limits are assigned, your vehicle should look similar to the one below (assuming the only applicable Mass Limit is GML).
