Viewing Meter and Last Service Readings & Dates

The following instructions are to guide users on how to locate additional information for a vehicle. These steps are used commonly for the following circumstances:

  • Finding a vehicle’s starting or max reading
  • Viewing the last service interval readings
  • Recalculating readings

Viewing Meter Readings, Last Service Kms/Miles/Hours/Date

Within a vehicle click on the Odometer tab and then click on More button below the Information tab which will drop down and display a number of fields.


Below is a summary of each field and its purpose.

Meter Readings

  • Start Mileage – the first km/mile reading entered for the vehicle, click on the blue arrow to view record containing reading.
  • Max Mileage – the current maximum mileage for the vehicle, click on the blue arrow to view record containing reading.
  • Last Mileage Date – the date of the most recent mileage reading.
  • Max Mileage Entry Type – displays the origin of the Max Mileage record (ie. Service, Repair, Prestart…)
  • Start Hours – the first hour reading entered for the vehicle, click on the blue arrow to view record containing reading.
  • Max Hours – the current maximum hours for the vehicle, click on the blue arrow to view record containing reading.
  • Last Hours Date – the date of the most recent hour reading.
  • Max Hours Entry Type – displays the origin of the Max Hours record (ie. Service, Repair, Prestart…)

Last Service Kms/Miles

  • Last A Mileage – displays the mileage reading of the vehicle from the last A service.
  • Last B Mileage – displays the mileage reading of the vehicle from the last B service.
  • Last C Mileage – displays the mileage reading of the vehicle from the last C service.
  • Last D Mileage – displays the mileage reading of the vehicle from the last D service.
  • Last E Mileage – displays the mileage reading of the vehicle from the last E service.

Last Service Hours

  • Last A Hours- displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last A service.
  • Last B Hours – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last B service.
  • Last C Hours – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last C service.
  • Last D Hours – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last D service.
  • Last E Hours – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last E service.

Last Service Date

  • Last A Date – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last A service.
  • Last B Date – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last B service.
  • Last C Date – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last C service.
  • Last D Date – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last D service.
  • Last E Date – displays the hours reading of the vehicle from the last E service.

The green recalculate button is used to update the fields above when a vehicle’s readings have been updated. When clicked and Gearbox runs its calculations you must click either Save and Close or Save and Continue for the changes to be saved to the vehicle.
