Verizon Connect integration
Overview
Gearbox connects with Verizon nightly to collect mileage and hour readings to update services due and calculate running costs. Meter readings imported from Verizon will appear under the Odometer section as well as the Odometer tab of a vehicle.
Prior to enabling the Verizon integration, please speak to your Verizon Account Manager/Sales Representative to see if there are any additional charges for API connections.
Verizon Connect Integration
1. Click on your User Icon (1), then click on Settings (2)
2. On the left hand side of the screen scroll down and click on Integrations (3)
3. Scroll down until you find Verizon Connect, enter in your Username (4) and Password (5) (provided by Verizon), click Integrate Verizon Connect (6) and then click Save (7).
4. Once the integration has been set up, click on Connect Vehicles (8) to trigger Gearbox to connect with Vehicles in Verizon based on the vehicle name or registration. A vehicle connection report will be sent that lists which vehicles connected successfully or not. This email will be sent to the email address linked to the user that carries out this action.
