Overview
The Repairs section within Gearbox serves as a comprehensive tool for managing equipment maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. It allows users to manually create repair orders, assign them to designated repairers, and streamline the workflow by assigning tasks to mechanics.
Creating a Repair
1. Click on Repairs (1)

2. Click Add New (2)

3. Choose the Vehicle (3), input the date reported (4), and select the reporting employee (5) who identified the issue.
4. Input the Repair Type (6), choose the Repairer (7), and Assign (8) the work order to a mechanic. Describe the Problem (9) and its Cause (10).
5. Provide Solution/Repairer Notes (11) (optional)
6. Gearbox enables users to add parts to their work orders (Repairs), facilitating convenient tracking of parts used during vehicle repairs. Simply click Add Part (12), select the desired part, and it will automatically appear in the table below (13).
8. After completing the repair, input the Date Closed (15) and the corresponding Kilometres/Miles/Hours (16), then mark it as completed (17). Finally, click Save and Close (18) to save the changes made to the repair.

9. A warning will prompt you if the mileage exceeds the current highest reading. Click Yes, Please Save (19) to proceed.
