Overview
Gearbox offers users versatile options for effective inventory management, whether conducting a thorough stocktake or making immediate adjustments. Users can choose to print comprehensive reports for stock assessments or input adjustments directly into the system.
How to export a Stocktake Report:
1. Click on Parts (1), then select Parts (2).
2. Select the Reports button (3).
3. Choose your Report (4) and preferred report format, either PDF or XLSX:
- Stocktake Report: Lists all available stocktake parts (excluding consignment stock). Includes a blank column on the far right for recording physical stock level counts.
- Stocktake with Prices Report: Lists all available stocktake parts with their total amounts (excluding consignment stock). Does not include a column for recording physical stock level counts.
- Stocktake - Consignment Parts Only: Lists stock levels for all consignment parts.
- Stock Adjustment Report: Lists all stock adjustments with parts for the period. (XLSX Only)
How to adjust stock levels
1. To adjust stock levels, first select Parts (1), and then proceed to Stocktake Parts (2).
2. Select the part for which you wish to adjust (3) the stock count.
3. Enter the Adjustment Label (4), Adjustment Date (5), select the Part (6), choose the Site (7), add any additional notes (8), and enter either the new quantity in stock (9) or the amount to increase or decrease the in-stock quantity (10), Then click Create Stock adjustment (11).
