My Settings

Overview

The My Settings area of Gearbox is where you can access your personal user settings. (This is different from the settings tab.)

In My Settings, you can:
  1. Reset your password
  2. Edit your details such as name, time zone, and language
  3. Configure when email notifications are sent
  4. Enable/disable dashboard widgets
  5. Auto-expand more information areas

My Settings

1. Click on the User Icon (1), then click on your name or email address (2)

2. This action will direct you to My Settings.

Profile Settings

My Details (1) 

  1. First name 
  2. Last name
  3. Time zone
  4. Language

Send me emails on (2)
  1. Tick/untick days of the week to receive Gearbox Daily Snapshot emails
User settings (3)
  • Maintenance Default Dashboard – change the view for Maintenance Dashboard
  • Employee Default Dashboard – change the view for Employee Dashboard
  • Compliance Default Dashboard – change the view for Compliance Dashboard
  • Auto expand more information – tick/untick to auto-expand More Information when looking at a service (see below)

Password Reset (4)

Change your password by entering your new password, then confirming it in the box below

Maintenance Dashboard

Use 'true' or 'false' to display or hide any of the listed dashboard widgets to update the layout of your main Gearbox maintenance dashboard.

Use 'true' or 'false' to display or hide any of the listed dashboard widgets to update the layout of your employee dashboard.
