Locked User Notification and Resolution

Gearbox will automatically lock an account when a user unsuccessfully logs in 10 times, they will receive an alert informing them:



An email will also be sent to all Administrators within the Gearbox system along with an email to Gearbox Support.

To unlock a User who is currently locked out you must first login with your Gearbox Administrator login, then head to 'Users':



Click 'Users' in the sidebar:



Any accounts that are currently locked out will display in the table with a red background, click on the User to edit it:



There will be a notification informing you the User is currently locked out of their account and cannot login, you must uncheck the 'Account locked?' checkbox and save the user to unlock their account:
