FMT Smartfill Integration
Overview
The FMT Smartfill Integration will import fuel readings automatically into gearbox each night via API. To enable FMT Smartfill to integrate, please contact FMT and request your client reference and client secret.
The steps below outline how to enable your integration.
You must have an active FMT Smartfill account and Gearbox administrative privileges to complete the below steps.
Please Note: Gearbox uses vehicle 'Fleet #' or 'Registration' to match Assets in FMT SmartFill using the 'Fleet' or 'Registration' fields, Please ensure these are matching within Gearbox and the FMT Smartfill system to work.
Integrating with FMT Smartfill
1. Click on your User Icon (1), then click on Settings (2)
2. On the left-hand side of the screen, scroll down and click on Integrations (3)
3. Scroll down to FMT Smartfill and enter your Client Reference (4) and Client Secret (5) provided by FMT Smartfill. Click Save (6), then click Get Fuel (7) to get initial fuel readings. Gearbox will then connect to FMT Smartfill and collect readings each evening.
