Adjust Default Tax Rate

Overview

Gearbox allows modification of the tax rate for international customers. The following example demonstrates how to modify the Australian GST (10%) tax rate to 15% for New Zealand customers and 20% for UK customers. 

Changing Tax Rate 

1. To change the value click on your User Icon (1) then click on Settings (2)

2. Click on System Parameters (3)

3. In the Search bar type “Tax(4) click on the percentage Value (5) to change the GST percentage

This change is effective immediately, however, we recommend that users logout and back in again to ensure that the modified value is updated.
