Gearbox Updates 23/05/22

The items below consists of all bug fixes, and enhancements that will be released over the course of this week. Please note, screenshot samples below may vary slightly compared to final implementation.


  1. Enable/Disable users adding/editing vehicles - a recently implemented enhancement now allow Admins to enable or disable specific Gearbox users from adding or editing vehicles. This applies to the following permission levels:
    • Internal Mechanic (disabled by default)
    • Standard (enabled by default)
    • Manager (enabled by default)
    • Admin (enabled by default)

  2. Users denied access to modules - a recently implemented enhancement now displays the following if a Gearbox users clicks on a module in which their permission level is set to denied. For example, the screenshot below the user John Smith does not have access to the Compliance module.


  1. Vehicle Fault Report history - a recently resolved bug prevented users from clicking a Fault Report record which would typically redirect the user to the Fault Report record.
  2. Admin Snaphot dashboard - a recently resolved bug previously prevented users from clicking the Reminder related counters on the dashboard if the Gearbox subscription did not have the Compliance module active.
  3. Review Medical counters - a recently resolved bug prevented the Medicals Done counter from updating and display accurate figures.
