Gearbox Updates 12/10/21
New Feature
- Gearbox now integrates with Mercedes Benz Telematics. Gearbox connects nightly to download the latest odometer and hourmeter readings for each vehicle to update when services are due and to calculate running costs. Please contact us if you would like the integration enabled.
Enhancements
- When there is a new version of Prestart available for download, a popup will appear after the user has logged in with a link to the App Store or Google Play Store. This will help users stay up to date with the latest features, improvements and bug fixes.
- Users can now mark faults as resolved in Prestart native. Once the fault has been marked as resolved, the fault report in Gearbox will be updated. This functionality now matches the web version of Prestart.
Bug Fixes
- In Prestart Native, repairs with a status of Open, Monitoring, Deferred or Cancelled were not being displayed on the Current Open Repairs screen. This bug has been fixed and we have added the status of the repair job to the Current Open Repairs list so it is visible to the driver.
- When fuel records were created in Prestart native, the litres of fuel value was being rounded to one decimal place in Gearbox instead of displaying two decimal places. This bug has been fixed.
- We have fixed an issue with the driver declaration not being displayed at the end of a prestart for people using Prestart native.
- There was an issue with the Processed Documents table not displaying text in the 'Upload File Name' and 'Date Uploaded' columns. This bug has now been fixed, which means that the Search function for that table works more effectively and is not just replying on the 'Document Description' column.
- We have fixed a bug with the vehicle import not uploading the fuel type column.
